yeah
I only got wind of it when I did an advanced car control course
refresher...earlier this year
and the friendly staff at Murcotts went thru the latest Vic road rules
and that was one of them.... :?

cheers
How cool is that driver course Ian, I did the advanced about 11 years ago, thoroughly recommend it. Just don't have loose stuff in back of car, it flings all over the place when doing all the turns/stunts

cheers, oh and I don't indicate to go str8 thru a roundabout either.

i suggest some of you guys check out this link, from the vic roads

website, http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/vrpdf/rd ... nVicRR.pdf

specifically page 46, where it states that when going straight on a

roundabout you DO NOT indicate on approach, only indicate left

when exiting the roundabout, just like all the others states in australia (as

far as i know)

This is all well and good for a roundabout where you might actually have to turn, but we are getting more and more roundabouts that are just an obstruction in a perfectly normal suburban intersection. Anything bigger than a Mini fills them completely.

i reckon they indicate right to go straight and think to themselves haha made you stop  that would be okay if they only indicate left to leave the roundabout
