I took in my motor to a "K" place, here is the result...
six phone calls to other bike shops to see if they will work on it and "sorry no" was the answer from all of them cos they didn't pull it apart....
So I'm now looking for another motor...

Cheeky bastards, what the fark have they done to that.
Bike shops give me the shits, "yeah yeah, bring it in we'll sort it", then ages later ya end up with a box of bits and no hint of appology, pricks.
If they take it apart the pricks should at least have the courtesy to put it back together.
WTF did you take it in for anyway, surely you could have had a pop at it yourself.
It was a runner, aparently just needed a new camchain.
At this rate mate, ya could have bought a minter
Fark, you haven't even started on the fairings yet $$$$$$$$$$$$$
Send em up here and I'll do ya a deal on Kwaka green, I'm pretty good at that colour
Keep pluggin m8

You didnt take that lying down did you? Farkin hell! If I gave them a complete functioning motor that needed a new cam chain and they gave me back THAT I would bloody well go completely spare!! Rossi told me about this when I was at his house and I could feel my temperature rising....tape wrote:I took in my motor to a "K" place, here is the result...

I wish it was as easy as that, unless someone knows how the make the later 7 motors fit into the H1 frame I'll do it. My concerns arn't realy the mounting brackets as they can be made it's the clearance in the frame up around where the tank sits.
I've heard the stories of the next model up taking later model engines and 9's as well but not heard of a successful H1 to a later donk.
cheers and willing to hear of specific deatils of conversions.
