I ride in the Brisbane heat... and rain, and cold, and in traffic, and at night and during the day and on weekends.... in fact, I ride everywhere - anytime.
Been doing it for nearly 20 years.
I've had 2 major offs. One involving a Volvo driver who looked left while turning right and one involving a taxi driver who changed lanes on top of me and clipped my rear tyre.
Both times I was wearing full leathers and saved me from losing skin, but not breaking bones and tearing tendons.
Last few years have seen some pretty good advances in protective gear that breathes in the heat.
There really is no excuse for not wearing protective gear.
Forget that the minimum legal requirement is just a helmet!!
TGL.

Never hold in your farts. They travel up your spine, into your brain, and that is where shitty ideas come from!
I thought I saw your name on a loaf of bread today, but when I looked again it said 'Thick Cut'

I see them every day doing the squid thing too and shake my head, the weather hasnt even got hot yet.
I wear a minimum of boots and jeans and a breathable jaket and gloves with no fingers but hey if i cant wipe my bum thats my problem at least my palms will be okay lol.
Ohh and the helmet but even in my street I watch the local ferals roaring around on pocket bikes with no lid.
Mitch the bird sitting on the seat cowl in a bikini was probably stuck to it lol.

If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?
