Got me a Sponsor!

Post by HemiDuty »

But not one which will meet with much approval from a Kawasaki forum unfortnately.....

City Yamaha will be sponsoring me and a 400 Racer by the name of Adam Cox (my new team mate!) for the 2007 season. :D :D :D

So thus armed, I am thinking of selling the current racebike, and getting a SuperStock 1000 R1. Being a Yammie Sponsor obviously I will be buying a Yamaha bike. The changeover will no doubt cost me some money, and as of yet I have no idea where I will get it from, but hey it's not like I am ever organised anyway. I will just stick to the usual plan of just jumping in and working out the details along the way. Maybe I need a 3rd Credit Card lol.

Anyway whatever happens I am pretty sure this is a step in the right direction. Will keep you all posted on developments.

Good stuff Hemi!

You have to get your own bike? So what are they actually 'sponsoring' you?
How the hell did you get such a deal?

I used to send my bike to them for sevicing, they are only 10 mins walk from my place. I still get my oil from them.

Good to hear the deal with City Yamaha went through.

Are they doing any tyre deals? or just the oils etc etc .....parts? pads? etc.

Would you be getting a new R1 off them or a 2nd hand one already set up.

You would know this anyways but if you wanna sell your bike or buy another:

Good luck with it man, really happy for you.

Better bike+sponsorship = Bigger trophy... well you hope anyways. :)

Good news Hemi, even if all it is is a tyre sponsorship that could help heaps..
A good mate will bail you out of jail, a true mate will be sitting in the cell next to you saying "Damn, we fucked up!!!"
