Update on greenslips

Post by jpbikeboy »

For those of you who didn't read my last post about greenslips. They have gone up HEAPS!!! In the end i just had to pay over $600. This what i was told by all insurance companies and the RTA.
For bike younger than 98 - expect about a 25% increase
Bikes between 81-97 expect about a 75% increase.
If you have full comp. insurance a small discount applies. But all in all, start saving. I'm 30, full points, no claims, no fines, max no claim been riding for 13 yrs, 1993 bike and i cost $667.

That seriously will price many out of bikes for sure, maybe thats the aim....you guys can use my address in Qld to register your bikes

Can't remember exactly how much maybe less than 500 inc' CTP but you can even make it cheaper by single seat reg by about 200 clams

It is bullshit, and in nsw we can't register as single seat. And even if it is single seat it costs the same.
