NSW F*%^KING GREENSLIPS

Post by jpbikeboy »

Hey all, i've been a bit quiet lately but i need to yell!
I went to get my greenslip for rego and shit myself. Last year i paid $361 this year the cheapest quote $648. I have full licence no fines no claims and been riding for over 10 years. It apparently went up on the 1st of Oct. becuase of the new greenslip cover. Car went up 1.2% bike went up 79.5%. It's a fucking outrage.

holy crap! why is this so expensive? is it based off what type of bike you have as well, as in small 250's are cheaper than giant litrebikes?

Why Can't It Be Like in Queensland?

Post by Che »

Why can't it be like in Queensland if you don't carry a pillion and don't have the pillion pegs fitted the third party is way cheaper. :?

Mine (for a 250) went up $110. :x

Lucky they had the wrong date (rego expired 30th Sept, they had 1st Oct) so I got it for the old price of $147.

Still, I managed to track one down for the HR, about $350 through Allianz, which is okay for a 600 and a rider under 28
I used to have a handle on Life,
but it fell off.

Mine for the new 636 was about $360, so yours shouldn't be double that surely?

Mate,

I just hopped onto the Greenslips website and plugged in some details for me being 32 with 1 at fault claim, 2004 model 900cc. I know these details are a bit different to yours but still...

Cheapest was $444...

I hope this helps...
