ZXR750 race fairing question

Post by NinjaMoses »

Does anyone know where I could get a ZXR750 (93-95) top fairing that doesnt have the headlight/indicator holes (ie. a race one) cut into it but *does* fit to stock lowers?

The few I have found all require the matching race lower which blows my budget when I dont need em.

Any ideas?

Hmmm, now looking at my stuff, that may be difficult and you may have to buy a road rep front fairing and bog the holes.
I believe the road fairing has a smallish the headlight fairing and large side panels on each side.
The race fairing is a one peice upper to 1/2 way down the sides with a belly pan underneath...

Yep thats what I have found. And if I could find the upper and lower for $500 I would be happy, but having to buy both seems to put the price closer to $1k. :(

Alright, can anyone tell me who sells race fairings for the ZXR in Australia then?

I emailed Shaggydogs but havent got a reply yet.
Have also emailed EasyRider Imports but havent got a reply yet either.
RacersEdge dont have that model listed unfortunately.

They are the only three I have found so far.... :?

Yep dave is right
Racers edge have a mould they bought for a 9-95 ZXR750 & they pulled a set for me a year ago.... they were really glad because it was the first set they had done from these moulds.
Dont remember waht I paid & not sure if they will fit the stock lowers ... prob not because the race copy lovers had a dam in the lower & dzus clips to fasten the sides so chances are it will not fit.
Good luck
