As I always say, I'd rather feel hot from wearing protective gear, than feel the agony of road rash

A nurse I know was telling me its not uncommon for them to see ppl who wear thongs on bikes to de-glove their feet, she helped in the rebuild of a guys foot just the other day.
The laws will change before long for a min riding gear std cause of these dickwads.

Watched a dick on an R1 pull up hard at a set of lights a few months back. This dick pulled up hard showing off rear wheel in the air, but the car behind almost went up his ass. Then the lights turned green off he went, front wheel in the air being a smart ass(almost fliped it). Mind you he must have known where to get cheap skin as he was only wearing shorts, singlet top and a pair of slipon shoes  It's dickheads like that, that give us all a bad wrap

me and a few mates were down at the bike shops in ringwood and some bloke rocked up in short shorts and a singlet on some honda tractor.

I have also seen plenty on the road with singlets and 3/4 pants.

Yup is squid season, seen heaps of them around lately, no sympathy for them at all.

As for the Posties, i did it for a few months a couple of years back, was a great job, only ever came off once, turning into a side street, hit gravel. The front just went out from under me. 30+kg of mail in the back panniers makes wheelies a breeze, corning is a different story. Would go back to it tomorrow if i could take the pay cut.

whats the pay like for posties? well when you did it.

Oh and had some conversation with a girl who was talking about how her friend is getting a bike

"so yeah and when she gets her licence im gonna be like on the back of it hahahah hehehe haaa *idiotface*"

me- "what type of gear is she going to get?, leather or just mesh?"

"what? no its 6 speed, like my boyfriends skyline heee ehaaa ^____^"

me- " :? .... no, riding gear... like protective gear, jackets and gloves and such"

"why would you get that? its summer, its not cold at all"

me - *some longer comment about roadrash and loosing bits'n'boobs at highway speed if you fell off, let alone at 60*

"but im cool, im not going to be riding... just sitting"

.....    they deserve roadrash (well not really but it might wake them up to protective gear, let alone pillioning being illegal for L platers)

Cumi-Cumi Isi (Stuffed Squid)

Post by mike-s »

Ingredients & Directions

1 lb Squid, fresh

3/4 lb Snapper fillets

1 Garlic clove

1 Egg white

1/2 t Salt

1/4 t Pepper, white
Nutmeg; dash

2 Shallot

2 Thai chile, fresh

3 Candlenut

2 Lemon grass, stem
Oil; for frying

1 c Coconut milk

Fat grams per serving: Approx. Cook Time: 1:20 Clean the squid. Wash under cold running water and dry thoroughly. Remove the skin from the snapper (ensure no bones remain) and cut the meat into tiny pieces. Crush the garlic. Beat the egg whites lightly, add the snapper and garlic and season with salt, white pepper and nutmeg. Stir to blend thoroughly, then stuff the mixture into the squid. Chop the shallots, chiles, candlenuts, and lemon grass, then saute in very hot oil for three to four minutes. Add the coconut milk and bring to the boil, then lower heat and add the stuffed squid. Allow to simmer until the squid is very tender, approximately one hour, then transfer to a serving dish and pour the sauce on top.

*blink*blink* oh, not THAT kind of squid..... damn, you bastards were making me hungry
