backfires and catches fire, i walk down the ramp to see it on fire and one mate already swam out to help, my brother swimming out to help too.
managed to get out bag (inc wallets phones etc) back to shore dryso i ring the 000.
couldnt stop it, so they jumped out. ended like this...
after fire is out we drive right around to get to the other side, and pull the boat up the bank(off the bottom) with the fire truck. and onto the trailer.
all this and im home by 10am.
i must add, that it did what hoffy's bike did, once it got hot, the started motor started cranking it over and because its a direct drive, motored it into the bank where it burnt. lucky, coz we were able to drag it out.
mate only owned boat for a month or 2, no insurance... bummer..
lucky we all ok.
