entire orbost to buchan as a whole

shortly after you leave orbost, you head onto a nice ugly stretch of dirt road, the twisties follow this....

You'll be pleased to hear, then, that the whole stretch has been sealed... the better to camouflage the gravel in the corners.

Orbost to Buchan is only about 60km... and a faken sketchy 60km they are, too.

From memory, the sign at the Orbost end of the Bonang says "<twisty road> Next 90km". The 40km-of-dirt clue tells me the sign in the pic might be on the Barry Way, between Jindabyne and Buchan.
nope, its the bonang road (not a highway anymore) its the sig at the north end after delegate river.

i know cause i was there and i checked it again this year and its still there.

and yes there is gravel on the tared bits

I thought so  that dirt section is without a doubt the shittiest piece of dirt road I have ever been on.

Yep, it is on the Bonang between Delegate and Buchan from memory.

I saw it in February during my road trip rthat way and couldn't resist (evidence below).
