anyone ever heard of the race homologation of the suzi katana? workmates got one he wants to sell and im just curious about them (not to buy, just the history of em) not much found on the net.

I think from memory there were 2 specials bought out,both for homologation in the castrol 6 hour.The 1st was the one with the wire wheels,a bit lighter than the mags and then i think they bought out a 1000cc model to comply with limit decrease to a litre.

Yup its the wire wheels ones. heres a picture which i was finally able to get off of my email. He said something about it being the last one they rolled off the line. Wouldn't mind seeing the thing in the flesh.

Looks pretty clean by the pic.Always thought they looked good with the aftermarket lower fairings.
