Germany all Done "i'm Coming Home"

Post by Burky »

Well that went quick, here i am in the Cathay Pacific Lounge Frankfurt with free internet access and an hour or so to spend. Thanks to those that gave info for leathers :D i did go out to "Louis" and picked up a 2pce suite for 549 euros so i thought it wasn't to bad. 8)

Any body heading out this way i would recomend it, as for the bike side of things lots of scooters and pedal power and only a few real bikes (including BMW this is Germany).
The first K i saw was at "Louis" and then an old zx750 that had seen better days.

See you back in Syd soon. :D :D

Glad it worked out ok for you. This may come as a suprise to you but Germany is one of the biggest motorcycle countries (population) in the world. BTW what brand leathers did you buy? I'm going to Italy and France next week, can't wait to do some accessory shopping myself

I bought Vanccui in the silver and black, and they gave me a tub of wax for them also. all the instructions are in german so that will make the application fun :?

It looks like they are made in either Italy or Germany, but they seem decent quality.
As for the bikes Frankfurt had quite a few. One that cracked me up was a BMW scooter complete with roof windscreen and wipers, and the riders didn't seem to need helmets on them:shock:
