Speaking of which, my grandfather mentioned a yr or two ago that he wanted a horsedrawn carriage to take his coffin to the funeral...... Unfortunately when he went a month or so ago we couldnt afford one or find one (more of the former, partially the latter)

Funny you should mention this topic today as i was just my self at a funeral. In fact i have been to 4 over the last 6 weeks.
When its someone old and they have had a good innings,it is understandable, but its still hard when somone goes before their time.
As mentioned in a thread here a few weeks ago,a mate of mine from the busa/hangmore clubs was tradgically killed on his bike.
At the funeral everyone tried to put on a brave face but deep down you cannot mask the pain and the emptyness as someone leaves your life.

A funeral should be a celebration of the life, and at the loss of any friend I'll be there with a heavy heart and a full glass.

My brother died on me at the age of 48 and every time I hear that Hunters song I go all teary, fuggin sucks as I love the song too..

See what we can do Ronster, Whole Lotta Love, Stairway to Heaven, Black Dog would do me nicely at my funeral, Hotel California something like that. Always wanted to get married twice, once as a normal traditional type wedding and once in shorts and t-shirt and walking down the aisle to the tune of "Most people I know think that i'm crazy" :D

From what I'm told Ronster, you couldn't be killed with a stick...

Ron,

Sometimes it takes an unfortunate event to put our lives in prospective doesn't it.
Recently, we as a family, had to deal with an near tragic event. Suicide.

Whatever your wishes are Mick and I will be there. ( Although I just got my full Licence so I'll be ridin Mick's Bike ) lol...He doesn't know this yet.

I think we should practice drinking and singing at the GP.

Oh yeah and btw.............

Have you be looking at my will cause those were my wishes..
No blardy bummer sad sack get together for me either i want everyone to party, drink Jimmy Black Cans and sing Kahe San VERY VERY VERY LOUD.

(Sorry MadKaw)
