Apologies if this is in the incorrect forum (ie. maybe in Track Day forum) but due to urgency thought I would post here.
Have just had a phone call from Jan Blizzard urgently seeking anyone interested in flagging at the NSW State Titles of the Post Classic Racing Association.
This means that you won't see any modern stuff but will see many of the superbikes of days gone by and even before that (PCRA rules allow bikes upto 1995 from memory).
So why attend?
Well, you will see a plethora of amazing machinery that provides a level of performance that was exceptional for their time and in some cases is not far short of the modern machinery and you get to see it from the best vantage points available short of riding
You will enjoy the smell of Two Strokes, the sight of sidecars and the overall noise of bikes without baffles.
All this whilst flagging at the Oran Park GP Circuit.
So why is this urgent?
Well as of tonight they have only 7 confirmed marshalls which means that the meeting cannot proceed as they are unable to cover all points.
Basically, they require marshalls both Saturday and Sunday from around 8:00am but if you cant do both days, no problems as any help is greatly appreciated.
If interested, please reply to this post or contact Jan Blizzard direct on 9521 3715.
