Missus got her L's

Post by Aussie Ninja »

Did the 2 day learners course over the weekend. Never riden a bike before and loves it. The only down side is I can't spend all my spare cash on my scoot as we have to save to get her a zzr2fiddy. :)

1987 for the L's course in NSW (unless you did it in a country centre where they tend to be more ...ahem ...flexible). You're not thinking of the P's course are you?

Pretty much so. The syllabus is set so that someone who has never ridden a bike before has the best chance to learn, so a full day particularly if it's stinking hot or pissing rain would be a mission. It also helps to learn something, go away, reflect and then come back fresh.

Day 1 is basic bike control whereas Day 2 is stuff that will stop you from crashing so it's a bit more demanding physically and mentally.

I'm doing mine in two weeks. If I did it on a Saturday it would have been one day, but mine is two afternoons during the week.
