Well i went out to the drags last night, and to be simple had a shit one! First the oil scavange pump stoppped(got it going after about 2hrs of dicking around) Then did a run 11.3 129mph. the front lifted back spun and i missed a gear. then did another run 11.00 136mph back wheel spinning up, crossed the line and then BANG RATTLE RATTLE THUNK. I think i dropped a valve. the motor wont turn over at all so it could be worse. The fate of the zxr is unknown. Depending on what s wrong i might scrap it and sell it off for parts.

man sounds really nasty but what would you expect when a turbo is fitted the extra stress on the motor must be huge

But with all the right bits, as I am sure jp has sourced, it's quite easy to run a substansial amount of boost through the motor.
Hopefully the damage isnt too bad *fingers crossed*

sorry to hear josh
, i'm sure both you and matt will be able to get it going again - perhaps just with the 9 engine and no turbo.

Thanks guys. if it's not good i'm thinking of buying a zx12 wreck and rebuiling it into a street fighter. We'll soon see.

Well, I don't want to hope that it's not good (for your sake) -> but a ZX12 streetfighter would be cool to see
Good luck!

Not good to hear at all man.
I really hope you can get it sorted, as much as a 12 would be good that ZXR rocked.
Good luck with it.
