Thanks for all the nice comments, guys. Yup, she sure is purty, and more importantly, green!
The more I ride it, the more I like it. I think it's going to teach me a lot (hopefully not the hard way!). A few months ago, I was thinking of doing a track day some time... you know, maybe next year... After riding this new baby for one day, I already know the new savings account may as well be called a "leathers, then track days" account
It just wants to corner faster and faster! The sturdy old '01 was happy doing whatever you wanted it to do -> this one's only happy going faster
Now, I've gotta find the owners manual and figure out how to get the bloody seat off -> there's still plastic stuck under it

Older, carbied, often falling out-of-tune '01 vs. new 636. Even not run in, it feels like it's in another league.Phil wrote:i'd be interested to know once its run in how much better the 636 engine feels to the ol 600.
