Not the guy running the blog, but the guy he's writing about. Read the linked PDf with the guys complaint, for frick sake, if your stupid enough to take this guys literal interpretation on things you deserve the consequences. Me personally i figure it as the hyper promotioinalism that is advertisments and don't take it *that* seriously aside from the laugh factor.

Next he'l want toilet paper ads banned because it makes him feel like he needs to wipe his arse excessively... I'm sure he must dribble alot of shit, so it is prob necessary...

Supposedly that ad promoted excessive drinking!!

Since seeing that ad I've had this strange compulsion to fling a deer into the clouds using this huge catapult I constructed in my backyard. Strangely though it hasn't started raining beer over my place and quite frankly I'm extremely angry about it.

Can I take legal action against Tooheys for false advertising.

I also suspect the only excess drinking being promoted was probably from the advertising people who came up with a bloody decent ad, which 99.9% of the population would have recognised as a piss take.

Sheesh there are some wankers around, with nothing better to do than find new ways to protect us from ourselves.

Does this sound familiar?

I thought this ad was great when it first came on - I thought if anyone would complain, it would be RSPCA or Greenpeace when they launch the stag into the stratosphere

How false is this add, I mean shit, we can believe somebody would sacrifice a stag to the beer gods, but who's going to believe they found 2 virgins in sydney.

still with all the crap going on in this shitty world, the do-gooders complain about a bloody beer add. go figure.

then theres the ad where the mexican gets out of the dude..its a maccas ad...it makes me wanna be a fat lil mexican wog wiv a funny hat..so i should sue maccas...

geez one of the more creative ads on tv gets canned cos some old bugger doesnt have a sense of humour. why dont they ban ads for plain stupidity, like the recent ad for that gum where some dodgy looking snow man follows people around...WTF is that about???

I almost had to pull a TV ad off air cause a little old lady mistook a long cylindrical battery pack we make for maglites for a "adult novelty apparatus"...

I would have told her if that's what she thought it was then go F@$k herself...

Her complaint was dismissed.
