bikeless again

Post by kellz »

well i thought id loose my licence before i lost the bike to the mechanic again.

well me and dad walk out to check the chain which i have been complaining about being loose and bit clunky at times. while on the race stands, me and dad start adjusting chain again and notice the alignment which we just did 2 weeks ago was out of alignment already.

look at wheel a bit closer, mm the hub is moving, crap... well yeh i said more than that.
so we pull it al apart, found the disc pads are rooted and chewed through to metal in spots, only replaced 6 months ago, (6000km) the rotar is chewed and warped with a nice lip on it.

im thinking well this is great.

then keep looking over it and start noticing that the rear shock is totally and utterly screwed the rubber stops, um yeh gone, well still there but not doing their job.

should i continue???

ok need new chain but we established that earlier, new rear sproket,

what is a stndard sproket for a gpx 250 r ii????

so, yeh im bikeless :( :( :(

this totally sucks, especially since i had decided with the week before and after GP off i will ride down and enjoy the whole experience.

back to flying now..

end of rant.

sorry for no exciting story of a grand highpowered highside or fantastic burnout into mono gone wrong.

yep the bike is just dead.

bad news on the bike mate....bugger...

as for the walking bit..how long u walking for?? and when u get ur licence back will u be unrestricted??

i find 3 -6 months without a licence an ideal time to save $$ for a new toy.....
