I agree they do have a similiar shape to the Arai, however they don't have the fit of the Arai. I tried them on when I bought a new lid last year. So unless they have changed radically???????? Believe me, if they were $350 and fitted like an Arai, it would be residing on my headdiesel wrote:new lid time indeed.
KBC have a similar shape to arai and are much better value for money.
the VR2 has all the latest technology for about $350.

There are really only two questions in life. 1.Which way do i go? 2.What is the lap record?

AGV have a "close" chin compared to the KBC (imho)
As you can see Col, go try em all on and buy the one that fits best.
If you can get a "test ride" for noise so much the better
BUT in this day and age they will all protect your head, its just down to looks, fit and price (in THAT order hahahaha)....

Hmmm... tricky question. More than 5-6 years I wouldn't be keen on using them: the foam goes hard over time, and reduces it's ability to absorb an impact. I guess it's up to you on whether or not you think it's safe.Daisy wrote:So what's the shelf life of an unused helmet. I've got a Shoei here that has spent 99% of it's life in a cupboard.
