Howdy
Looking for some helpful feedback.....
I have enough cash for either a brand new ZX10R or a 1200 as the dealer has both for the same price, but can’t decide.
I have read topic after topic and have become even more undecided. Seem to change my mind every day…
The only other real problem I have with both bikes is that they have no centre stand and that means my short ass other half who has troubles with the centre stand on her ZZR250 will be able to sneak off for a ride

Both are awewsome bikes unfortunately......... Its truely a dilemma you are in...
Basically you can break it down this way....
The 12s are faster in a straight line.... the 10s are faster in the twisties... Both are fast enough to scare the living bejeezuz out of a sane person...
Well I would buy the 10 even if it's just for looks
Can someone describe the experience of riding a 10? All I know is that it's fast... Let's say compared to a 600 ?

Add 50% more power and acceleration to your bike and you're there Andi!!!

There are really only two questions in life. 1.Which way do i go? 2.What is the lap record?

BUT what aboput the prices ?
Are we talking a 12R or a Eddie Lawson Rep?
Either way the 12R should be in the $16K range
About 18 for a '06 10 (anyone)
Like I said if they are the same price the 12 is either too dear or the 10 cheap.
The 12 should be at least $2K cheaper and that may change your desire.
If you havent ridden a litre bike before I would DEFNITELY say the 12 for six months THEN the 10 that you REALLY want
IMHO
Just because you CAN ride, doesn't mean you SHOULD
