Yeh, there should be an cut off where if youre a certain age
you do not get the grant.

In very recent times, theyve shown kids having kids just to
get the money.. then dumping the kids on parents to bring
up

How about trying to think how this kid will be like in 5 years..... Kids need money and $4k is not gonna cut it even for a year

The point is they don't think past the first year, they see the love the baby will give them and the $$ centrelink will pay them.

They don't understand that the $$ run out, and a child is going to cost you a hell of alot of time, money, love and effort to raise.

Why are these "parents" not given vouchers instead?
To places like:
Coles Like the gift vouchers they have now, you can't buy alcohol or cigarettes with them.
Kmart
babyco
Nappy places

Arhh only in a perfect world

mm studied this last year in nursing, had the biggest debates about the bonus and its legitamacy, and its inclusion and exclusion levels. not everyone gets it. it sucks. if your on low wages, sure you get it, but if you work in a good paying job, dont expect it.

) and asks "hy did u have me? " i can just see the mother saying for the money , and then that child goes and does the same becouse they need love . its not setting a good exsample !!!!

Now your onto something, if they paid the girls $1000 a year not to have a child MANY would not be having children.

But we need babies, we also need responsible parents, education and jobs.

Vouchers would deter a few i think, after all you can't snort that up your nose

I can't answer for China, after all there in a world of there own.

Last Oct i went to Hong Kong NO kids at all!!

I spent 2 weeks doing business, and touristy things.
Not a kid in site, not at the water parks, nor there so called zoo.
I also went to Disney Land, yep no kids again.

The only kids i saw were from tourist families returning to the airport on the charter buses.
