Computer question

How do I know which cache files to erase? Is there a simple check, pr is it a little more complicated?

u mean temp internet files? or cookies? or thumbnails cache?

Temporary internet files get cleaned out when I do a drive clean, usually once a week, or at most once a fortnight, so I guess I would mean cookies, and possibly thumbnail cache

cache is on the ram -the system memory, it gets cleaned up everytime u re-start the computer, if cookies, then u can view it with windows explorer path such as C:\Documents and Settings\"Username"\Cookies\

it'll show u all the cookies and then u can be selective from there

Try this little app if you want to clean out your temp files.

We use it for cleaning up pcs at work...

yes, put cookies into ur pc, chocolate ones, and email them to all your friends......

The term is also used to refer to a program's cache which would be on the hdd.
