need a warrant or to arrest you before they can search or detain you and i would say veiwing your vid would come under searching you for evidence, if you where silly enough to hand over evidence before they arrested you they will accept it.

As for the answer i haven't been riding my ninja lately but i tried recording it while riding my mountain-bike, it records great except there's no sound.So i think i'll just add some good music to the footage next time

1) Bullet-cam - 1/4" SHARP CCD,PAL: 625 Lines, PAL Pixels- 320K,
DC 12V, 1.5 Lux = S$ 120
2) Connectors and cables = S$ 10
3) Battery Pack = S$4
4) No microphone for sound
Total spent=S$134 + some soldering, heat shrink cover for the connectors to make them waterproof, testing and time.(this exclude price of camcorder with AV in/out option)
