the $18mill gpx was apparently runnin a 8:1 mixture, waaay too rich as can be seen by the vid of his dyno run. I was very surprised it was so close to my "stocker" until i heard how far off it was. Mine was running about 10:1 with a big fat rich bit at anything over 1/3 throttle.

I just got back 20 minutes ago from changing the jets back to the stock ones, fingers crossed it also helps with some hiccups ive been experiencing elsewhere in the range too...

All I know is the green 04 zx10 had .8hp more than the 05 titanium one...
Move right along folks nothing to see here........

Thanks for rounding to nearest whole hp Dave

What a great way to spend a Sunday morning hp,hp and more hp. I can't live with the shame any more though Dave, yes I'll admit it, when you get to one decimal Micks TITANIUM 10 was 0.2 ahead of my green one. Although when you average the numbers from the green ones and the Titanium ones (there was a few of them), the green ones are indeed faster.

And as for Phils 9 well Phaaaark 131 hp at 105,000 klms I reckon was the outstanding result of the day. Let me get in first with "Gotta love the 9"

Some good shots Mike and good timing. You got mine at 266kmh, right on redline with the shift light on. 8)

How good was it! I had trouble holding my camera steady when mine was up for its run on the dyno, and to have three 10's within 1hp of each other...

So maybe the titanium ones don't beat all the green ones, but statistically speaking they beat 50% of them

What a f@#$kn disapointment.
The $18M GPX was runnin like a $18 GPX.
The only good thing to come out of it is that I still have a fair way to go with the tuning (yes Dave I know you were refering to me in your post!!).
Anyway to have 3 more than mikes and running so badly means the only way is up fore the weapon.
When is the next dyno day happening, I may need a little notice as I have some tinkering to do.
As mentioned earlier the runs for the day for me were Phils 98 ZX9 reaching 131hp and the 98 ZX6 punnin 99.5 gotta be happy with that!!!!
I will not stop untill I get 100 rrwhp !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd say most of the carby bikes needed some tuning work.
Tims was the worse..... :?
GreenBloods 7 has a few horses to release too.

Mike, Frank, Peter and Darrens bikes had pretty good results but could probly improve and Kelz 250,?? who knows but Jus's old RII put out 25 hp with stock pipes.
I'd say Phil may even get a couple more ponies out of that 105,000 k zx9r... and the clutch worked fine too, how tuff are those 9's...

I had a look at my printout and I think you were pretty close on the top speed for mine, although the revs have obviously dropped a little bit. I've gone down one on the front compared to Dave and Glenn's so the top speed is lower in the same gear, and your photo matches what the dyno said...so my speedohealer isn't too far off :)
