I know. I was trying to make a point in a round a bout kind of way.
The way I see it, things at KSRC are changing. We have new members. Some of those members are new to bikes so ask questions others roll their eyes at. Some of the members like to respond to every single post. Why? Maybe they are just trying to fit in. Some members can't spell. Sure a little bit of extra effort (maybe run the post through Word spell check first) might go a long way, but does it really matter?
If someone annoys you enough that you don't want to read their post, then don't read it. I used to read every topic, every post. But I've given up. I don't like Big Brother, so I don't bloody watch it.
Some of us have been around KSRC for a long time. We have mates that hang out and post here. If someone’s posts annoy you enough that you don't want to go out of your way to be best mates with them, then don't be. No one is saying you have to be friends with everyone. But at the end of the day the core majority of us all get along well and what better way to stay in touch with each other across this massive country of ours.
KSRC and its members are also a wealth of knowledge and experience. Why shouldn't we share our friendship, passion for bikes and the lessons we've all learnt with others?
As far as posts going way off topic, or people just posting crap? So what? If something’s gone off topic it's either because the topic itself has run its course, someone has tried to lighten the mood with a joke or two, or mates are being mates and engaging in the usual bullshit banted that happens when mates are holding up a bar.
