I'm keeping at it ol' son, I love it too
That was under the Manufacturers warranty within the 12 months. But the 2 year extended warranty is good too. I got it only because I read thru it and it's an extension of the manufacturers warranty, not an insurance policy warranty where you have to make a claim and have it accepted. it even has a replacement clause in it!!!!!Felix wrote:That's good to know. Heard good things about Toshibas.
I sold a couple of IBM's to people, as I had really good experience with them as a corporate customer. They are just as good for normal peopleI made everyone buy the 3 year extended warranty (48 hour), and wouldn't you know it, it saved at least one person from forking out for a new power supply and a hard drive already. Maybe laptops aren't meant to be thrown in top boxes ??
So was that on standard warranty or did you have to buy an extended package?
I managed to nick that for $129 anyhoo! So it was worth it.!Felix wrote:Cool. Sounds like the IBM extended warranty.
I tell people to buy it, as even though it can be $300 for the warranty, a new screen (and I've seen them go on relatively new machines) can cost bucket loads more...
