Been for my test ride
Brand spankers, (128k on clock when I took it back)
Initial thoughts
Damn its ugly in the flesh too
WICKED a 190 on the back, sucker should handle then (Bridgie 014)
Ars is ugly as
HOP ON FOOL AND START IT
hmmmm no hint of the size once on board
KEWL Kawasaki on LCD screen (thinks maybe games for those long trips?)
Warm it up and lets go, Dealer has warned me it wont mono under 5 due to mods but PCIII will fix that (How does he know this ???) and he has Microns on order.

Compared to a modded 12 (its not run in dont forget) its not as powerful but a lot smoother (new bike feel only?)
They do SWEEEEET monos without trying and come down VERY smooth too.
Brakes are a gem and BETTER than my 12 (until my braided lines turn up 8) )
Pegs are low but bike is DAMN comfy too.... managed to grind the toes off my work steel caps a little
OEM tyres were pretty good too (Compared to the shit that came on the 12).
Handles OK but nothing dropping the forks wont fix (did it have a ride hide adjuster DOH ????)
Above the 5 it sings and keeping it there was easy
NOT that it doesnt go below that, it DOES but you can wind it on flat and it doesnt do anything "scary/squirrely" so the Kwaka techs have doen there job well DAMN THEM
(ASIDE : How many of you that THINK you are holding it "flat" really are hmmmm???? Includes me, I sometimes go to a open road and "test" just to see if my reality is "true" hmmm *thinks* is THAT why they put quick action throttles on DOH )

Now that I have returned to mundaine reality (work) lasting impressions are
SMOOTH, usable power and great gobs of it, comfort and....
damn its STILL ugly
BUT not when you are on it (and who cares then ?)

But I am not about to trade my 12 (good try but Kwaka) 8/10

You will love it as much as I did Smitty but dont go there expecting it to blow your socks off.... I have been reading so much Yank crap that I was ALMOST convinced it might have been better than the 12.....

NAH

But hey if they bomb it and bring out some decent plastic
