Hi All,
Thanks for all the messages, just at jess's brothers place at the moment, so i could jump on and have a look.
Bikes been taken to Bike Magic for a quote by my insurance company, going to go down there tomorrow to take some happy snaps of it. Doubt from what I saw/heard of it that it'll be coming back (however, you never know).
Can't remember a whole lot about what happened, however, it was on a right bend after a right hander, and she came into my lane, i counter steered and thought i made it aroudn, started looking up the road to make sure i wasnt going to run off the road myself and then crunch. She hit me on the right (whole length of the bike it would seem) and then i high sided it, and slid and rolled (while my bike spun around just behind me, judging by the swurls of green paint along the road). Tell you what though, those ditches in the black spur are mighty comfortable if you land in the right spot!!
woulda been a whole lot worse without the people who were not far away turning up for assistance, including corrie and that american guy.
Dosed up on panadien forte, some antiinflamitory voltram or something and got some stronger stuff to get me to sleep - my leg, ankle foot and knee are double the size of my left side.
I'm quite the comedy act at the moment, even making a cup of coffee in the morning is a fkn joke!!! i feel like steddy eddie playing dead fish.
However, thanks to the gear i've got no broken bones, and only a couple of minor grazes on my leg and elbow. heres a tip, ALWAYS BUY GOOD GEAR!!!!!
that and, another tip, don't buy excels, they seem to either understeer or not have auto pilot when you're obviously not watching the road!!!
I prob wont be on much for the next little while (no net at home) and i'm already sick of day time television, judge judy needs to fkn send her self to jail for failure to provide entertainment.
Anyways..
As rossi said, fat bikers bounce better
Ciao!!
thanks for the get well messages.

Bit of a bugger the car getting you and its not the falling off that hurts ya its the sudden stop at the end.
nothing broken just a bit of swelling and no buggered ligaments thats lucky and if the car was at fault you might as well get onto a personal injuries lawyer about the third party claim.
The check from that might be suitable pain relief.

If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?

Glad to see you got to post your own crash report mate. Hope those lumps and bump are coming down and the ones that are supposed to be there are coming up again.
If you happen to have a spare Green Whistle let me know. I could do with one of them in my gear bag
Oh and Jess, Look after my little mate (I know you will) but don't baby him to much, He'll get to like it
