Josh Brookes to Kawasaki.. !!
This could be what we need.!!!
Josh Brookes Joins Bertocchi Kawasaki
Yesterday
Josh Brookes today officially joined the Kawasaki Bertocchi World Superbike Team and will race in Silverstone and for the remainder of the year in the World Superbike Championship.
Ridding the Kawasaki Ninja ZX10R, Josh will draw strength and focus from his challenging start to his international career and his dual Championship winning form in Australia in 2005.
“It has been quite a ride. It was difficult to leave Ducati, because the guys were great, and my life long ambition is to win World Championships. To leave a team after only three races really tore me up, but I knew it was the best thing for everyone concerned. Taking a step back to take a couple forward is hard, but I knew that it would lead to good things, and it has. Bertocchi Kawasaki have shown faith in me, and I intend to return their faith with 100% commitment 100% of the time .I am fitter than I have ever been, and maybe just a little bit wiser. I know the bike is fast, and it’s a very very good bike, now I’ve got to get it to be fast with me on it. I am totally focused on making the Kawasaki Bertocchi competitive against the best in the field and working closely with the team and Kawasaki to do so, and know with the help and support of the Team and Kawasaki, it will happen. SBK is a step up for sure, but I love a challenge!”
Josh will race this weekend with Team Kawasaki Bertocchi in the Italian SBK domestic Championship and use this race as a shakedown and familiarization session for the Silverstone SBK round in two weeks.

Josh Brookes Reports On His First Kawasaki Ride
Yesterday
Josh Brookes Press Release
Josh Brookes today completed a successful first outing on the Kawasaki Bertocchi in the domestic Italian SBK Championship. The weekend was used purely for the Team and Josh to begin to understand how to work with one another and for Josh to complete as many laps as he could on the Ninja ZX10R before his first SBK event next weekend in Silverstone.
“ The weekend really couldn’t have been to much better when you take into account the goals we set. Firstly, the Team are just amazing. They are totally professional and I found working with them to be just about perfect. We had lots of things to go through, from the real basic things to understanding how the bike reacts to changes in settings. It was a revelation just how committed they are to success. Then secondly, the bike is just awesome. Just so much power, and the way it reacts to the changes we made over the weekend made me feel like we are in the right track. Getting back onto a Superbike after Supersport is pretty freaky. The ZX10R just wants to rip my arms clean outa their sockets! I love it! Results didn’t really matter this weekend, although I always want to win everything I go in. The race was a bit disappointing because my race pace was 1 second a lap faster than my best qualifying time, but the back came around on the 3rd lap and let go. No biggie, just a bit annoying. We improved around 5 seconds a lap over the course of the weekend, and given the massive amount of improvement that both the bike and I can achieve, I am really looking forward to my first SBK race in Silverstone.”
Josh is en route to Silverstone where he will compete in his first SBK race for Kawasaki Bertocchi.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.
