Does anybody know what kind of power gains you get when you mod the zorst and carby for extra power on 98/99 zx6s.
Or has anybody got a link.
Cheers

Roughly...
A slip on and jet kit will get about 3 to 6 hp.
A full system and jet kit will get about 5 to 10hp.

If you are patient and keep your eyes open on places like ebay you can get a good deal. I Got my full Yoshi system with Ti can for $660 delivered and another $160 for a Factory pro jet kit. Not sure on install prices though as I did it myself.

costs vary from bike to bike. mine i had to take all plastics off, drain and remove radiator, remove oil cooler and frig about for frigging ever getting it to fit took quite a while even though i'd had a lot of practice at it (i had to unbolt everything off the fairings, lights, idiot lights, the lot).
Newer bikes i suspect theres less to take off as the fairings are the top and two side peices,

these bikes are very similar to 98/99 ZX9R's, which are lucky in that they dont really lose much (any!) low down power with a full system, unlike most other bikes
dyno graph for an akra full system on a 98:

dyno graph for a akra slipon:

doesnt tell you much tho, as they both start off with very different power figures... pretty normal for different dynos on different days with different bikes!
