Umm, work .

I arrived Friday arvo, I've got two weeks in London (plus another two weekends) plus a week up in the north-east where I have cousins, aunts, an uncle and a surviving grandparent, all who I haven't seen since I was 7 .

Nothing major planned, catching up on family stuff, but I also hope to visit my dad's grave (and his dad's), I haven't seen those since I was 6. He was an only child, and I gather they're going to be a bit overgrown now.

It's not too bad so far, the weather's pretty shite although it was ok the day I got in. It's been cold and cloudy since though...

Normal unleaded is around 97p/litre. I've seen it as cheap as 93p, but according to the driver that was apparently the cheapest petrol in London. So, I suppose we're not that badly done by in Australia as 97p equates to $2.38/litre .

Haven't seen much of motorbike shops as I'm staying pretty close to the middle of London (about 500m from St Pauls) but there are shitloads of bikes on the roads. During the day most of them are couriers on crappy old bikes, or people on Vespas. Good to see that the couriers are as mad here as they are in Melbourne .

quick trip through the chunnel for the GP next weekend and then up to the TT in mid June, surely you can hang out for that....

Almost forgot, if you get time, nick up to The Ace Cafe, and take your camera with you...

Have fun and remember to talk slow to the natives, specially the Welsh.
