Hi There,
Im having a blonde moment, I am trying to get the front wheel off my zx-6r 98. I have been told to leave the right side (looking at the front) bolts in and undo from the left.
I have tried really hard, either I am weak or im trying to undo the axle the wrong way (I have tried both clockwise and the other way).
Is there a trick to it????
Cheers,
Cant get Front Wheel off... is there a trick????

Yup, that's corrent.
Undo left-hand pinch-bolts, leave right-hand pinch-bolts done up and heave at the Allen nut on the left end of the axle.
If the bike's been serviced by rocket scientists, there's every chance the nut's going to be seized (how easily did the pinch-bolts com out). Feel free to use a breaker bar as long as you like. Failing that, step on the ratchet handle.
Then, once you have it all undone, dab some fresh grease on all the male threads and contact surfaces, including down the full length of the axle. That'll stop a repeat of the problem you're having now.
