Having lived in NSW,VIC,S.A, n W.A., and ridden in Qld,Act n Tassie a few times, i reckon Tassie has the best roads if you're into corners. Vic is the next best with NSW a close second!
S.A.'s hills are sensational, but you can cover all the good ones in two days. W.A. is great for litre plus bikes cause u need to be doing 300kph to make a Corner out of anything.
But Tassie is motorcycle nirvana in warmer months.

There are really only two questions in life. 1.Which way do i go? 2.What is the lap record?

asking 'which state is best to ride in' isnt really the question to ask,
the real question should be 'which state has the most friendly people to ride and socialise with'
unless riding around on your own is what ya like most
i met a bunch of the vic members last week and i can truely say, ive never met such a friendly bunch of people in my life
so when its too hot or cold to go riding, you can still socialise with great people
