Stretchy and Hemi need pit helpers for racing 13th May!

Post by HemiDuty »

If you are keen to come see some racing, and want to be involved, both Paul (Stretchy) and I are in need of a pit helper each for the race meeting on Saturday week (13th). The pay is shit, but you will not pay to get in and lunch will be on us. We are both in the same garage, so no probs there.

Basically all that is needed is for someone to be there to put the bike on and off the race stand, and maybe help a bit with putting the warmers on and off and general stuff like that. Also possible damage repairs should either of us crash lightly enough to continue racing.

Anyway if you are able to help it please let us know.

Thanks,

Drim.

Hmmmm....ok :D .

Drim sounds like a good way for me to check out a local meet + i have a big roll of green race tape as well(may look funny on your bike though  ).

So yeah put me down mate :) .

P.S - Preference is to work with the kawasaki side of the pit(j/k  ).

Greenmeanie, bring along that roll of green race tape as i will need it.

My steering damper blew apart as i turned into turn one and i ran it into the gravel trap. Made it almost all the way through but dropped it in the big ruts at the back. Only sratched and cracked the left side fairings but it is still solid enough work with some tape.

Ok Thanks for the replies everyone, at this point Mr Meanie I guess should do Stretchy's bike (I would not want you to dirty your hands on a Yammie  ), and BarraBob will help with mine.

Thanks heaps guys, the help is much appreciated.

Hopefully doing this day will give both of you the racing bug and we will have more KSRCians out there battling for glory.....
