I've been chatting with a few of our friends...
I suppose quite a few of you are wondering about how some of our mates are doing:
Dave #3 has been released from hospital and is back at home. After an annoying amount of poking, prodding and xray-ing, they've determined that all the back pain is muscular only. So, given a bit of time and some decent drugs, he'll be back to new in no time.
Hoffy's got a broken thumb, a couple of cracked ribs and they've stitched up his leg. He's in a bit of pain, but he'll also be as good as new soon - no permanent damage from the lacerations, and apparently chicks dig scars on blokes, so I reckon he'll be having his hands full with the nurses. He expects to be released at the end of the week / over the weekend and his family are keeping him company.
Ty is feeling a lot better today. He's still in bad shape, but at least he is getting the good drugs! He has a broken femur, cracked rib, a bit of road rash and is a bit bruised and sore. He's requested no visits or phone calls so as not to waste valuable morphine (a few calls have come through as he was drifiting off and disrupted his rest).
Feel free to use this thread to wish them all well - I'm sure they'd appreciate a laugh or a kind word. None of us are interested in discussing the actual incident - we're still focused on the aftermath and recovery right now and would appreciate it if that can wait for another thread on another day.
