zx6 gauge mod completed
It took a couple of hours to do but was pretty easy. Got the Leds from the US because i couldn't find the ones i wanted here.
Also changed the shift light to bright white.
Total cost was about $65.

I got all the info for this mod from kawiforums.

The guy does a step by step of what to do.
I got the same Leds that he specified from Eled.com, they're a US site.
I ordered the Leds last monday afternoon and they arrived thursday morning, they're $1.77 US each.

Dead easy job to do mate, go here:hidepenny wrote:oh i love ur white light on the rpm, it makes it so much clearer to see

for all the low down, I used 6 blue led's 5 white and 1 red (which makes the tacho look shit hot IMHO). Only catch is you have to order them from the USA here (or similar) but the only took 3 days to get here.
Oh and if anyone is interested but thinks its too hard I have a mate whos an electronics engineer and he said if you send over the PCB or complete guage cluster, he'll do the job in any colour combo you want for $75.00 plus parts (the actual LED's).
