Yep, I almost shit myself the first couple times I did an unintentional wheelie. If you have the throttle all the way open and the rpms at about 8,000 the front wheel will just come up. I think they aren't bad as a learner bike as long as you have common sense and self control. I wouldn't recommend someone learn on a 9 if they haven't been driving cars for at least 5 years and have a realistic sense of their mortality.
