I weigh about 82kg's plus riding gear & even with the lighter rear spring, I still cop a flogging from the harsh suspension!mitch179 wrote:![]()
i dont find the suspension that bad and i only weigh 68kg
I think you need to sample some other 600's & see how bad you have it, because I didn't think it was too bad until I rode a mates 03 R6 & realised how bad I had it.
The "Best you know is the best you've ridden" I guess that applies to girls as well?:p

Ive ridden CBR's and R6's and have had them close to tankslapping, but the ZX6R doesnt have that inclination..... or at least not to the extent that the other 2 did...varden wrote:People that ride like girls never get to experience the raw edge of one of these babies....never tank slappered it on the way to the cafe on your sports bike huh?.Stereo wrote: I have never had a tankslapper.... The 6rs seem to do it when you hit a seam in the bitumen at full throttle in second or third theres a seam where the bitumen joins out where varden had his incident and i have had mine waglling a bit but tend to back off before it gets violent.
I have had a bit of it out on the patch on turn 2 and has leaning right over the front coming out of turn 1 to keep the front on the ground last track day, I have the damper screwed up full hard too.
My front end is diferent with heavier springs and diferent damping to a stock one.
Be nice to get a track where the features are the corners rather than changiing your lines to dodge the lumps each time you go out.
Stereo your additional weight may be a factor in all this.

If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?
