Post by hidepenny »

Hi all , this mroning went to kawa to buy a xena lock and see what the shop and ppl are like and just found out u guys just left for HP 30mins ago, and one of the staff i think his name was ken, gave me 10% discount on everything so i bought a nx14 alarm lock, tank pad, and chain lube, at the cashier i was charged full price    , i didn't know until i went to work and check the receipt :(

but all good, wanted to buy a cheapie helmet too, but no size in stock,

and amazingly i'm a 6"1 guy and my head fit in to a small size helmet perfectly
and currently i have a size L

oh oh

and ken told me u guys left just 30mins ago, and he told me like it's gona be a 50-60ppl ride out wowowowowow

:D :D

We (gayle & I) left brighton kwaka at 8:15 sharp so with departure time of 8:10 we gave late comers plenty of time  That was a good fun ride, a long one too.

As I did not stay overnight, was back home at 7:15 ish.

Yep you're right. It rained plenty from Ronster's new castle all the way to my place. Peeled off 85 layers of wet clothes (squelching boots feel so sexy ... not!) & now after eating a weeks food in one sitting & in comfy warm clothes I reckon it's way worth it & of course you dont even really notice any discomfort while you're riding ... just concentrating on wet slippery roads. Can't complain. The 9 just holds the road like a true comford monster.
Anyway I had a great weekend, great company & a great ride both ways.
Cheers.
