Need help getting a contact

Post by ShadowKeeper »

Basically as the title of the post suggests I'm trying to get the email address of someone at Kawasaki Head office in Sydney. Mainly because ,and I really REALLY hate to say this but, I have a few complaints I need heard.

Firstly the Kawasaki Australia website has not been updated for quite a while with relevent information for example the specifications of some of the new models specifically in my case for the ZX-14.

Secondly I was recently on holidays and took it upon myself to ring the Kawasaki head office to try to et a release dae for the ZX-14, I tried to get past the receptionist but had no luck, all she could tell me was, "Some time in May". I then took it upon myself to inform most of Perth's Kawasaki dealerships. Why am I doing the sales rep's job for him, I want an answer from his head office.

And thirdly, when am I actually getting my pre-ordered ZX-14, to the day. Is it too much to ask?

So if anyone can help me out by supplying me with a contact email address so I can take these matters a little bit further I would be in your debt..

Bit much for a second post but I'm trying to sort out some small problems in the world..

That's what happens when you pre-order a bike. Not much you can do about it.

See now normally I would agree with you and not complain, but...... In regards to delivery dates, I have been told by the representatives of Kawasaki (ie my friendly neighbourhood dealer) the first delivery date was mid Feb, then Late Feb, then mid March, then it was late March to early April (when I took holidays) I've since found out mid May but I was wanting an update and was trying to get the contact details of someone further into Kawasaki Australia instead of the receptionist counter. Either way I'm still going to buy the bike I just want to be prepared so I can set aside some time to run it in to my liking.. :) Thanks for the quick response though, nice to see someone else up lateish too..

From what I have read elsewhere, Kawasaki delayed the release date on the 14 here because of a number of reasons.

Initially it was delayed because they were fine tuning something or other. I don't remember what it was now.

And secondly, they have been so overwhelmed with orders that they still can't fulfill orders in the more important markets (ie: north america).

Our previous contact at Kawasaki has left.
I have another but I wouldn't think it appropriate to give out his e-mail addy. I will send them an e-amil on your behalf.
One of our members also works at Kawi, so they may read this.

ummm the same happened with the zx10r ..and most other new release bikes...things change..spec's etc and they dont get made on time....

i kno u dont wanna hear this, but i deal with it on a daily basis....
its probably NOT Kawa Aus's fault, they can only forward what they get...if japan aint shipping them, we wont get em.

If we dont make sumthing, then we (retailers like myself) often get told "ull have it Tues, april, may" ..whatever, it always blows out, and they often dont even kno when im getting shit, till i ring them & tell them ive just recieved it...

It sucks, but unfortunately theres sum times u cant help it..or do nething abt it...

Just feeling a little bummed about the whole thing  , don't get me wrong I'm going to wait it out because if I bought something else I'd always be wondering, "What if?". I just don't like having $20,000 just sitting in the bank doing nothing

If you have an ING account, put it in that until you get approval, no point having it in an account gaining 0.00000001% interest.

Just having $800 in an ING account for a month gets me about $5-6 a month :D.
