hey all thanks for the welcome. would love to join you guys on a ride but dont think it would happen anytime soon. yesterday, decided to go for a ride on the beautiful day it was and stopped by down at sandown and went to say hi to a mate who entered his car in the burnouts at eaternats. anyways, as i was exiting, a cop pulls me up and asks for the licence. (knew i was in trouble cause i only got my P's, but riding a 750.) in the end, the copper gives me a $524 fine for unlicenced driving. what i dont understand is that i ain't unlicenced, i was just breaching my restrictions. what do u guys think

I think it depends on how bad a day the cop was having.
You were unlicensed for that bike - your license doesn't allow you to ride that bike hence you're unlicensed. Same as you can't drive a big truck on a car license.
Up to him though (I think) whether he does you for unlicensed, or riding too large a bike.
Jase/Aardvark will correct me if I'm wrong I'm sure.

PS. Welcome.
