The optimum tyre pressure for a tyre will depend on a few variables.
1. Ambient temp
2. Road temp
3. type of tyre
Different tyres operate better at different pressures due to differences in construction and compounds.
As an Example. 002's are useless at anything more than 32 psi in the front for the road, whereas I can get away with as much as 36 in the rennsports. I also will sometimes vary my tyre pressures depending on weather conditions.
Really hot weather I will start with a few psi more in them. Cold a few less. In the rain I inflate them to Max reccomended pressures. (It keeps the tyre firmer and stops the tread blocks closing over thus causing aquaplaning.

There are really only two questions in life. 1.Which way do i go? 2.What is the lap record?
