AFAIK
in Vic..as long as they can sit on the bike...with feet on
the pillion pegs they can ride pillion
so a 6yo with long legs can go pillion :shock:

You're spot on Yoda, the only legal req for a pillion is they can touch footpegs, can hang on somewhere and wear a lid. In the case where a woman on the back of a hD was breastfeeding i'm not sure on the legalities, even though said kid was wearing a lid he/she couldn't reach footpegs and not sure grabbing ahandful of mums tit qualifies as a handhold..

I am a smoker ... i have no problem with ashing out the window or people doing it when i'm following on the bike ... its only a bit of ash ... it mixes in with the other grit and crap in the air.

I DO have a problem with people that throw the butt out the window ... I've worn a few and its no fun ... cars have ash trays ... why do people have such an aversion to using them?

I dont throw anything else on the ground and cig butts arent any diff. If i'm walking along i stub it out on the sole of my shoe then hold on to it till the next bin. It isnt that difficult really ...

Yes the 12 seems to make them all disappear into the background fairly nicely ... prob is mr plod is generally waiting around the corner drooling at the jowels in anticipation of saving your life. Try explaining to him that it was in the interests of your safety to accelerate away ...

if its not idiot..... its another

tonite on the way home driving in the lefthand lane
(of 2 lanes going west) spot a bike coming up fast
OUTSIDE the bloke next to me in the RH lane
See the bike which has large yellow L on the back
pass the bloke next to me...by being on the wrong side
of the road
but young idiot L plater decides he wants to go LEFT at
the next street (he is STILL on the wrong side of the road)
and just goes .....left :shock:

between the 2 of the cars up in front of me
causing both car drivers to emergency brake to miss this idiot
who just cut across their bows....
which results in the 2 cars behind, slamming into the
back of the front vehicles and one other just in front of me
to hit the bloke in front of him.
Smitty pulls up and hits no-one (and no-one hits me)...pheww

so
young idiot bike rider has just caused a 5 car pileup.....

and if he might just gain his P's...if he lives :evil:

and no...no-one got his rego details
