Who reads the forums?

Post by Strika »

I just think about some of the discussions, and "Fictional" stories we tell in here, and "creative artistic" clips we make on "private roads", with ficticious speeds quoted, and wonder how many of our law enforcement brothers take little lookies in here and see what is going on and sometimes with who and where???????

When I first joined the forum, I really didn't put too much thought into who reads this stuff. But maybe we are not doing ourselves and favours by publicising some things. Sure I have been as guilty as anyone here, and as mentioned, didn't put too much thought into it. However I thought it was worthy of some opinions!!! :)

You're just jealous that you're not slim and really good looking in a Joe rocket set of leathers, and your helmet on

I just put a "Closed circuit" Pic in to emphasise my point about where we do things and what we post up here.

Like this one. Leathers are a little archaic but it's on a track

I am inclined to agree with you strika, I was reading the osb forum yestrerday and noticed high drama with a ride they did on sunday and it didnt look like anyone on that ride escaped without a ticket for some sort of infringiment.

I also had a look at a video on their forum that appeared to be made localy and shook my head and thought to myself well i know why the coppers are hammering posted rides/ anything that looks fast on any hinterland around brisbane.

I went and did a track day with hemi and after reading osb ride report it was cheap and fun....13 days or something and my driving holiday will be over but i am wondering if theres wisdom in putting my six back on the road.
If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?

Why do you think We have'nt been posting the snowie Routes Pyka.

A good road is something to keep to ourselves. I always PM people the best roads if they ask.

So does this mean the end of "Pyka does Dapto" Threads ?. I love a good group ride report

But i also think because we dont have a lot of "I'm a legend, lets go Insanely fast & Stunt our bums off in someones Backyard " threads that we dont attract a lot of attention to ourselves.

But don't worry I reckon we get a few visitors from the "law enforcement Visitors"
"Nan & Pop Racing"
Poppy Hops on .... CBR150 (Superlite) CBR954 "Blade"
Nanna Naps on .... MoriWAKI NSR85 (Motolite) ZX10R "Crim"
We may ride like Old Can'ts, But Phuk we look DOOG !!!!!!

I think we have few more older and wiser (??, maybe not wiser) members than a lot of the other forums...

Although this was on public road... but it is also a racetrack, we just didn't know which it was when we were there....

Yes but as reported..

"It should be noted that these men are criminals," Ontario Police Detective Don Bell said. "They are not the motorcycle enthusiasts they portray themselves to be."
