Which Kawasaki spare shop best in sydney?

Post by lighthouse »

Hi guys, i'm new here. just got my bike and Learner. found that the clutch of my bike is making noise on idle. so i think its a worn clutch:(
does anyone know where to get a new clutch plate for a 93model ZZR250 at a decent price? i live around Sydney liverpool.
Thanks

What kinda noise? if its a funny knocking noise, welcome to the world of kawasaki 250cc parallel twins, they all do it, we dont know why, but they don't seem to be any worse off for it.

r.e. dealer, some are better than others, but i've had good service from paramatta kawasaki spares shops who were quite helpful, same goes for sydney city motorcycles spares dept (i've only dealt with the kogerah branch, but still heard good things about the others in liverpool/lane cove too).

Mate, give Richard at Narellan Kawasaki (club sponsor) a call. He should be able to help you out.

clutch plates dont make a noise when they are worn

when they are worn the clutch slips

OOH :D .. Thanks for that info Johnnie5. I was afraid of going anywhere far with my bike because of not sure if the clutch worn or not. Hate to push it home when you're like 200km away
