hey cheers everyone, nice to meet you all, Im a bit short of cash for the next few weeks, so the ninja will have to sit there in its sad state for a bit longer.
Im still having problems finding a decent diagram, or something to show me where all the hoses and stuff go.
Has anyone got a bit of know how when it comes to this bike?

Woah, finally i found a decent pic of one with the front half all together!!
that looks awesome, definately like the one colour job
I cant wait to get mine looking clean like that
would you have any pics of one done in full black, with polished rims? just curious, as I have seen a mates done similar and wanted to see what it would look like on mine.

nice bike!

Back again

Post by v8-vh »

hey all, back again. just figured out what hoses go where now, Im still having a VERY hard time trying to get the lock assembly out of the fuel tank. since I dont have the keys, i have undone all the bolts and tried prying it out but its almost like its going to snap something if I bend the screw drivers any further
anyone got any Idea how much a new lock. with key, will cost from a wreckers/ i dont want/or need a new fuel tank
From what i can gather, logically i guess it must have to be unlocked before you try and take it out?

I found a key (mates zxr250) that works in the ignition but not the fuel tank

Also, in regards to the fuel switch, what is the difference between ON, and PRI? i thought ON. means, main fuel tank, PRI was some sort of priming for the carbs? and RES was the reserve tank
but someone mentioned PRI might mean primary tank !?!?!? confused
