Apparently it looked like Fred Flintstone, but I still don't know how I landed it and didn't come off as I couldn't find the rear brake. I am now kinda over the wheelie thing. Well for a whilesounds *unreal* - got any photos ?? They would look great......

One of the best I ever saw was a guy with the front hovering about 40 - 50cm above the deck for about 7-800metres. It's not at the balance point, so it must all be power (and a solid clutch!). The other was on a Fast Bikes' vid, where 2 of them dusted a Ferrari doing stand-up wheelies with one leg crossed over the sideMrStompy wrote:I wish i could do wheelies
it would be awesome to be able to overtake your mates - put it on the back wheel - give them the finger onthe way by and leave them for dust
dude you will be fine if u start small and work your way up, i dunno how easy a Z750 wheelies but im sure it can do so alright off the throttleMrStompy wrote:I wish i could do wheelies
I guess i could learn but i dont really want to drop my bike.
There is a little place on my way home from work where the road drops away (down a hill) real quick.
i like to gun it there in first and i can usually get the wheel about a foot off the ground for a few metres.

The 03/04 636 with minimal fuel in the tank (approx 1/3 tank) @160kph in 5th gear is capable of doing bounce-up/clutch-up standup wheelies, I know a guy who know's a guy that has tried & succeeded....mitch179 wrote:imo, i dont land them any harder than say hitting a decent sized bump in the road so i dont really think im putting excess amounts of strain on the front end but oh well!
i agree that it would be putting a fair bit of extra stress on the chain and sprockets tho![]()
but its ohh so damn fun, i would like to learn to clutch up second but i would end up going to fast and probably scare the shit out of myself
