hahahah too true... lists quite a price difference between 98 and 99 6R's, as if it was a new model or something :?

as for discs, i could believe it... the 98/99 ZX9R's are known for chewing out front discs pretty quickly, and i bought mine with 27k on the clock and it had a set of wave discs fitted so obviously they were fucked well before 30k

personally, id just get a 9R :P

Thanks guys, He did say we can work something out if it does need any work done to it. Its a bit hard for me to check it cos the bike is 300k away. He has no were to store it in melbourne so he keeps it at his parents place.
Im still thinking about it, In the back of my mine I should save a little longer and maybe get a 03" zx6, but this may reqire a small loan which Im not sure I want on a bike.
What would a 03" zx6 be worth next year you think?

Are bothe the 03 & 04" zx6's identical, do they have the same gearing as well?

Yeh noticed that . The 03/04 look alot more agressive seating which something that does consern me a little, but something I will lern to live with. From what I ve read a much better bike though. Would prefer the 05" model with the softer suspension, more horizontal seat and more power but 8-9k is the max I will can spendon a bike.
Are there mods to lower the seat at all on the 03 model?I hear its bit of a nut cruncher. If I

you will get used to the seat on the 03/04 i found the bike took a bit of getting used to but after that its ok, I have heard a whisper that someone that knows a friend of a friend may be working on a diferent rear suspension link (shhhh its secret squirrel stuff) to fix a kawasaki design flaw...well not really a flaw just ask randy....ohh gary mccoy may have asked for one of these too. :D :D :D :D :D
If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?

Could a 05" model rear suspension spring fit straight onto a 03"?

dont think so. might be a different setup due to the underseat exhaust

I dont think its that bad a price... and they are good bikes..... But if you shop around private sales you will find similar prices from other sellers.... So shop around and see if you can do betterer...
