New camera locations submitted to The Australian Scanning Board Here's a quick summary of on what roads the cameras can be found: Westgate Freeway - Princes Highway - Operational.
1. Top of Westgate Bridge

3. Point Cook Overpass
4. Point Wilson Overpass
5. Little River Overpass
6. Corio
7. Norlane - (just before the waterslide)

The Monash a further 5 cameras in addition to the one that has been operational since 28/12/01. This one is approximately 600 metres
from the entrance to the Burnley Tunnel.

Ardvark can be excused. :D

Will have a licence again one day and it will become a issue.

hehe i like the idea of the expanding foam, but you'd have to find a camera that wasnt watched by its own security camera.

or use a couple of grenades, one on the security cam, and one on the camera itself....

Long distance snipper riffle. Accurate enough to hit the lens, concealed enough not to get seen  Then there's the, "but your honor, we we're our rabbit shooting and hit a bump" excuse  I've seen a few UK cameras covered in spray paint, complete with not working sprayed on the back 8)

The Eastern Freeway 5 cameras, operational.

There's no cameras on the Eastern freeway. Just cops sitting on the overpasses.
There are 2 cameras just before the freeway starts (outbound) on alexandra pde however.

I can assure you that the Gordon/Barkly St camera in Footscray is not only installed, but very much operational.

I've seen so many people run through on the red light at this intersection and get their photo taken (and deservedly so!). I'd love to know what sort of dollars this one single camera rakes in.

on a slighty differnt camera, a trial camera for rail road crossings raked in just under 200k in a month, so one camera in theory could rake in 2 mill a year.

and in england they destroy em all the time, they have a special name for em, but i cant remember it :?: :?:

Believe me the ring road camera's are very much working! I have a friend who work's for the company that install's and repair's the bloody thing's and he said that they are all working. The only one's that don't work are the old style camera's that need film. The camera's on the corner of Barry road and Hume hwy Campbelfield have been sprayed over. Most of the freeway camera's are the timed one's. They start about 500m away from the camera itself.
It's not a tuma.
